About the Role
This charity is seeking a dynamic and dedicated DAHA Accreditation Project Lead to coordinate and oversee the Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA) foundational accreditation process across the four South Nottinghamshire Local Authorities.
This is a unique opportunity to embed best practice, strengthen multi-agency partnerships, and ensure that housing responses to domestic abuse are consistent, survivor-led, and trauma-informed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the DAHA accreditation journey, conducting health checks, mapping gaps, coordinating project plans, and supporting local authorities to meet DAHA standards.
- Drive strategic and operational improvements, embedding policy and procedure changes across housing teams.
- Deliver staff training and create a network of Domestic Abuse Champions.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, including safeguarding boards and housing governance groups.
- Support safe, survivor-led case management and feedback mechanisms.
- Promote anti-racist and intersectional practice in every aspect of the work.
- Enhance perpetrator accountability in housing responses.
- Coordinate publicity and awareness campaigns around domestic abuse responses.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Proven experience managing projects or leading multi-agency initiatives.
- Strong understanding of domestic abuse issues, including safeguarding and trauma-informed practice.
- Ability to work collaboratively across services, lead change, and engage a range of stakeholders.
- Skilled in training delivery and confident using Microsoft 365 tools.
- Passionate about feminist values, survivor-centred work, and anti-discriminatory practice.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 and local authority housing processes.
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults or children affected by domestic abuse.
- Understanding of homelessness, mental health, and substance misuse services.
