Crynodeb
As an Assistant Business Support Accountant, you will play a key role in providing expert support and analysis for the Council’s services. This role primarily supports the day to day operational running of the integrated financial system and supporting Business Support Accountants and service areas to ensure the Council meets its financial obligations, key objectives and critical deadlines.
We expect the successful candidate to hold the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), and be able to support Business Support Accountants with the council’s monthly budget monitoring process. As well as being a trusted advisor by providing high quality budgetary advice to the services you will support to create a real and active working relationships with both operational and management.
Key Responsibilities:
Day to day duties in relation to the integrated financial system.
Providing assistance to Business Support Accountants.
Reconciliations.
Budgetary Control.
