Are you an experienced admissions officer with a keen eye for detail and a passion for supporting international students? We're looking for a highly organised and proactive International Admissions Officer to join our dynamic team on a maternity cover basis.
This crucial role is vital in ensuring we are consistently providing offers and support to our international applicants. Reporting to the International Admissions Manager, you'll play a significant part in implementing and upholding the University's processes and procedures, often acting with delegated authority.
What you'll do:
Support international admissions: You will be responsible for supporting the efficient and robust management of international student applications from initial inquiry through to enrolment.
Sponsor Management System (SMS) expertise: You'll be a key user of the SMS, administering and reporting on international student activity.
CAS approval and assignment: In line with University policy, you'll ensure CAS applications are appropriate for Student Visa requirements and assign CAS with the necessary approvals.
Policy and procedure development: You'll help develop, implement, enhance, monitor, and review our policies, procedures, and processes related to Student Visa obligations.
Data handling and record keeping: You'll handle application data and maintain records to Home Office standards, also training staff on proper record maintenance.
About you:
We're seeking someone with a strong understanding of UK immigration regulations, particularly as they apply to international students. You'll be an excellent communicator, capable of providing clear and accurate advice, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to work collaboratively and meticulously will be key to success in this role.
If you're ready to take on a responsible and impactful position within a dynamic university setting, we encourage you to apply!
