Responsibilities
- Assisting bricklayers with daily tasks, including knocking up mortar and other materials.
- Ensuring the worksite is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Transporting and handling materials as required.
- Supporting the team with general labouring duties to ensure smooth project progression.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations on-site.
Qualifications
- A valid CSCS Card is mandatory for this role.
- Previous experience in a similar labouring role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
Day-to-Day Your day will typically involve:
- Starting the day by preparing materials and tools for the bricklayers.
- Mixing mortar and ensuring it is readily available for use.
- Assisting with the movement of bricks and other materials around the site.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Supporting the bricklayers with any additional tasks as required.
