Outreach Tutors - Core Subjects (Maths & English)
Location: Dagenham & surrounding areas
Contract: Flexible / Part-Time
Pay: £25-£40 per hour (dependent on experience and qualification)
Are you a passionate and adaptable educator looking to make a real difference outside the traditional classroom?
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Outreach Tutors to deliver 1:1 or small group tuition for students in Dagenham who are currently unable to attend mainstream school due to medical needs, special circumstances, or lack of a suitable school place.
This is a vital and rewarding role helping young people stay on track with their education and prepare for a successful return to full-time schooling.
You will be working with pupils across Key Stages 2 to 4, primarily focusing on English and Maths (with opportunities to support Science and Life Skills in future). Tuition is provided during school hours (9am-3pm) either:

Or online, with in-person check-ins coordinated by the service

This is a short-term, targeted intervention - not a long-term alternative to school - and your work will support pupils' academic and behavioural readiness to transition back into full-time education.
