Job Description
Glasgow City Council requires an Assistant Group Manager to join our sustainable Transport Team within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability.
Leading a multi-disciplinary team of professionals you will oversee an exciting city-wide programme of active travel and public realm projects ranging from physical infrastructure to mobility services.
Successful candidates must have an indepth knowledge of NEC contracts, national design standards, best practice and CDM regulations. A demonstratable track record in managing the delivery of large scale active travel or public realm projects in a busy urban environment is desirable.
Successful candidates will be based at our Glasgow office and participate in our hybrid working policy. Generous holiday allowance and average earnings pension scheme are included. A minimum of HNC/HND or higher level qualification in an engineering or relevant discipline is required.
