Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Aeronautical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing aircraft and aerospace products. You will work closely with other engineers and professionals to ensure that all projects meet safety standards and performance specifications. This position requires a strong understanding of aerodynamics, materials science, and structural analysis.
Responsibilities
Design and analyse aircraft structures, systems, and components to ensure compliance with safety regulations and performance criteria.
Conduct simulations and tests to evaluate the performance of designs under various conditions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into existing systems.
Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation for projects.
Assist in troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process or in service operations.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in aeronautical engineering practices.
Qualifications
A degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related field is essential.
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software is required; experience with simulation software is advantageous.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex engineering problems.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Knowledge of aerospace materials and manufacturing processes is beneficial.
Previous experience in aeronautical engineering or related internships is a plus but not mandatory.
Experience:
2–7 years of relevant aerospace design experience.
Proven experience in designing metallic and/or composite structures.
Experience working within UK or European aerospace programs is a plus
