We are looking for two finance assistants to join our team
As a finance services assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department by assisting with day-to-day financial transactions, including invoicing, payments and reconciliations. In addition, you'll also work closely with internal departments and external organisations, as well as assisting with the preparation of financial reports and forecasts.
For these roles, we’re seeking two detail-orientated and proactive individuals, with strong financial and organisational skills. Ideally, you'll have experience in finance administration, be confident using financial systems, and be able to work well both independently and in a team. You'll also need to be a clear communicator, have the ability to handle sensitive information with care, and also be able to support the finance function in a fast-paced housing environment.
As part of this role, you may also be required to mentor an apprentice, volunteer or work experience placement.
Our finance team is friendly, supportive, and collaborative. We work closely together, and create a welcoming environment where everyone feels encouraged to contribute and grow.
Tracy Bartlett is our Finance Services Manager, so if you fancy an informal chat about the role, why not give them a call on 07973 858358.
Closing date for applications is Friday 1 August 2025, applications will be reviewed throughout the duration of the advert and we may close it early should enough applications be received. We are not working with recruitment agencies on this vacancy.
Beyond Housing’s Employability team is here to support your application. If you need any assistance please call 0345 065 5656 or email employmentsupport@beyondhousing.co.uk.
Pay award pending minimum 2.2%
