Are you passionate about providing customer service that you’d be delighted to receive yourself? Do you enjoy building relationships and getting to know people? If so, then you belong at Bromford!

Our lettings team manages the effective day-to-day delivery of lettings across the business. As part of the team, you’ll work closely with colleagues and local authorities to ensure fair and timely allocation of properties.

You’ll guide new customers through the lettings process, ensuring that all records are accurate, and follow our policies and procedures. You will ensure the accurate set up of tenancies and completion of relevant pre-tenancy checks, collaborating with our empty homes team to minimise void time. And you’ll maintain and manage property shortlists according to Bromford’s and local authority, ensuring a fair and transparent process.

The caseload is diverse, comprising a mix of straightforward cases and more complex situations, ensuring a dynamic and varied workload every day. While you’ll help us meet key performance goals, the most rewarding part of this role is seeing people and families manage their own homes, where they can build brighter futures and thrive.

What we’re looking for:

  • Customer focussed experience: you’ve previously worked in a customer-facing role. While experience in housing or lettings is a plus, a passion for customer service is most important
  • Strong communication skills: You communicate warmly and effectively with both colleagues and customers.
  • Resilience and adaptability: You can stay positive, proactive and composed when handling varied and sometimes challenging situations.
  • Organisational skills: You can prioritise and manage your workload efficiently.
  • Enthusiasm for the role: You’re committed to helping customers find the right home where they can thrive.
  • Team player: You thrive in a high performing team, helping us meet our KPIs while letting homes fairly and transparently, in line with our policies.
  • Tech-savvy: Strong IT skills, keen attention to detail, and an excellent work ethic are essential.
  • A great ambassador: You embody Bromford’s DNA and positively represent our values.

By joining Bromford (part of Bromford Flagship), you become part of a leading housing provider delivering community-focused services across the east, central and south west of England. We have a local approach, all backed by the scale and ambition of the Bromford Flagship Group. Join us to help create communities where people can put down roots, feel secure, and thrive.

You’ll be based in our Tewkesbury office with regular home working available. A basic DBS check is required.

Apply by Wednesday, 30 July 2025. Interviews will be held on Monday 11 August, at our Shannon Way office, Tewkesbury.

Apply now. This vacancy is subject to an earlier closing date depending on the volume of applications.
