Join CITB as a Vocational Instructor within the Plant Mechanic Training Team!

Are you an experienced Plant Mechanic ready for a new challenge? Share your skills, shape the future, and make a real difference by training the next generation of plant professionals.

Location: National Construction College East, Bircham Newton, Norfolk (This is a site based role 5 days per week and doesn't allow for home working)

Hours of Work: Full-time (35 hours per week)

Contract: Permanent

Salary Range: £40,500 - £49,500 per annum

Target Salary: £46,350 per annum

About the Role:

What you’ll be doing:

As a Vocational Instructor, you’ll deliver high-quality training to learners at various stages of their careers. You’ll play a key role in shaping the future workforce by:

Delivering engaging theory and practical training sessions to apprentice and commercial learners
Supporting learners through assessments and qualifications
Maintaining industry standards and ensuring a safe learning environment
Contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement
What we’re looking for:

Minimum of Level 3 (or equivalent) vocational qualification directly related to the role
Specialist licence to practice qualifications relevant to the role
Relevant experience in the construction industry and excellent knowledge of current industry practices
Minimum of Level 3 teaching qualification (or commitment to achieve within one year of commencing role)
Assessor Awards (or commitment to achieve within one year of commencing)
A passion for developing others and sharing knowledge
