Level 1 Teaching Assistant required to support pupils with additional needs. This post is initially in our EYFS unit. The successful applicant will be expected to:
Assist teachers in preparing classroom materials and resources
Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and engaging with learning tasks
Provide individual or small group support, including for pupils with additional needs
Encourage positive behaviour and promote a safe, inclusive learning environment
Assist with classroom organisation and daily routines
Build supportive relationships with pupils and staff
Help with monitoring pupil progress and feedback as required
Assist with intimate care
Requirements:
A Level 1 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience in a school setting
A genuine interest in supporting children's education and development
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to supporting learning
Be willing to undergo relevant training: such as paediatric first aid
