About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate our solar and renewable energy installations. This role is crucial in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning

End-to-end management of installations, from planning to completion

Define and deliver project timelines, milestones and budgets

Customer & Stakeholder Management

Be the main point of project contact for customers, ensuring communication is clear and expectations are managed

Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery of projects.

Technical Management

Work with engineers and installers to troubleshoot any onsite challenges

Ensure installations meet health and safety regulations and industry best practices

Financial & Resources Management

Track project budgets and expenses, ensuring projects are delivered on time and with budget

Work with internal schedulers to ensure the right resource is allocated, individuals, internal teams and subcontractors

Prepare Gantt Charts and reports to tract project progress, cost and risk

Team Leadership & continuous Improvement

Lead and motivate all teams to ensure installations are delivered to the highest standards

Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency



Skills and Experience

Required

Proven experience in project management within the renewable energy, solar, or construction sectors

Strong knowledge of solar PV, heat pumps, and other renewable technologies

Experience managing multiple projects, budgets, and stakeholder relationships

Knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance

Excellent problem solving, organisational and communication skills

Proficiency in project management tools and software



Desirable

Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) or relevant qualifications

Understanding of grid connections, energy storage and net-zero strategies

Experience working with subcontractors and supply chains in the renewable sector
