What we're looking for You're someone who combines their public health knowledge and skills with passion. You will bring: Proven public health experience with a track record of delivering results Strong analytical abilities to turn data and evidence into actionable insights Excellent communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders effectively Collaborative mindset with experience of multi-agency and partnership working Drive and motivation to work with others to address complex health challenges The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. Main duties of the job The Senior Public Health Practitioner will: Lead the delivery of national projects within the Wider Determinants of Health Unit Co-ordinate the development and monitoring of project plans Ensure that public health interventions and activity are based on sound public health principles and evidence. Collect, synthesise, analyse and communicate evidence to inform public health action Develop, monitor and evaluate the delivery of project plans and relevant sections of the Public Health Wales Annual Plan. Ensure that all interventions are co-produced with the public and key partners.
