We are looking for an experienced B4 Administrator to support the newly appointed B8a Service Manager ready to develop and deliver the QMUL and Barts Health Tuberculosis Centre Service at Barts Health based across Barts sites Mile End Hospital, Newham Hospital, Whipps Cross Hospital and Royal London Hospital.
TB prevention is a key priority for the NHS and the likely focus of major healthcare changes driven by the government in the coming months and years. At Barts Health, and specifically at the Barts Heart Centre, we are looking to deliver a unique programme of activity to focus on TB incidence, Barts Health manages 8% of all TB cases nationally.
They will work closely with the clinical lead for Barts Health Tuberculosis Centre, and the Barts Heart Centre senior management and members of the local and regional teams as well as relevant third sector partners such as charities and patient/community groups working in this space.
The key responsibilities of the post-holder will include administrative management, stakeholder management, managing the day-to-day delivery of the TB centre.

The purpose of this post is to actively manage the administrative processes of patient pathways, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for patients throughout their treatment by the Trust. Ensuring that all pathways are front validated at all stages of the pathway.
Actively chasing results in order to reduce treatment length of time.
Also to participate in providing an effective administration/typing service to the multidisciplinary team.
