Your new company
Hays HR is delighted to be working in partnership with a forward-thinking professional services firm to recruit an exciting new role. As they expand, over the next two to three years, they are strengthening their team and are now looking for a Talent Development Partner.
They require a proactive and innovative individual with great experience in Talent Development as well as broader HR expertise to lead their talent agenda in partnership with the Director of People and Culture.
Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for driving initiatives that enhance onboarding processes, career path development, training plans and learning frameworks, ensuring that talent remains engaged and equipped for future challenges.
Key responsibilities within this role include:
- Onboarding and Integration: Design and implement effective onboarding programmes that ensure new hires feel welcomed, informed, and prepared for their roles within the organisation.
- Career Path Development: Collaborate with business managers to create clear and accessible career paths for employees at all levels, facilitating discussions about career aspirations and growth opportunities and sources of learning materials and events to support their growth.
- Career Planning Support: Provides guidance and support to employees in their career planning efforts, helping them identify development needs and opportunities for advancement.
- Learning Framework Enhancement: Lead the enhancement and embedding of our career and learning framework, making it engaging and relevant for all employees while ensuring cost-effective implementation.
- Talent Initiatives Management: Oversee the management of talent initiatives, including the development and execution of a Graduate Academy and other relevant learning academies, ensuring alignment with business needs
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams to promote and support talent development initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement across the organisation.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of talent initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Broader HR involvement: In addition to having a very honed focus on the talent agenda, the incumbent of this role will also be involved with and support the broader people strategy agenda that covers everything from people administration, payroll, compensation and benefits, job frameworks, benchmarking, talent acquisition, performance management and functional reporting.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have demonstable experience working within a Talent Development role and have a great interest working with people of all levels to enhance their career journey. You will have a genersalist HR background and may have moved into the the learning and development space more recently. You will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant professional certification preferred.
- Proven experience in talent development, learning and development, or similar roles within a professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of career development frameworks and best practices in learning and development, with experience in leveraging technology and AI.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
- Innovative and strategic thinker with a passion for developing talent and enhancing organisational culture.
