Join us as a Function Planning Manager, Employer Brand & Talent Attraction
- As a Function Planning Manager, you’ll be joining the Employer Brand & Talent Attraction (EB&TA) team at an exciting time of change
- You’ll be the main point of contact between internal teams and our third-party supplier, developing plans for core work to be delivered via a new outsourced model
- This is an opportunity to build strong relationships and develop your project skills, overseeing deliverables using project tools such as Kanban and sprints
- This role is available as either a full time or reduced hours, minimum 28 hours opportunity
- This is a remote-first role, so you’ll spend most of your time at home, working with your team digitally and coming into the office twice a month when you need to collaborate closely with your colleagues
What you'll do
You’ll work across our internal team and with our key supplier, developing plans for the work to be delivered, ensuring appropriate size, pricing, deadlines and key deliverables are clear and understood. You’ll oversee and quality assure all briefs going into the supplier, including employer brand marketing content for Early Talent, always-on attraction, job advert writing, and ad-hoc content or copywriting requests.
You’ll also be:
- Project managing third party deliverables using tools such as Kanban boards and sprints, tracking resource and budget utilisation and ensuring return on investment is delivered
- Supporting the review and quality assurance of creative output to ensure it’s on brand and adheres to brand guidelines
- Conducting regular retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement is applied, ensuring any slippage or quality issues are addressed
- Providing regular status updates to the EB&TA lead and managers
- Lead quarterly business reviews with our third party, ensuring feedback from internal team is gathered and reported against balanced scorecards and agreed contractual measures
- Supporting the briefing of new work, as well as any ad-hoc support requests that sit outside the agreed model
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with strong negotiation, influencing and problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to work in a pressurised environment to very tight deadlines. You’ll bring project management abilities, skilled in managing multiple projects and stakeholders concurrently.
You’ll also have:
- Ability to effectively manage suppliers, including any poor performance or slippage, in a proactive and assertive manner
- Strong analytical capability working with budgets, trackers and project measures, monitoring time to complete key tasks and resource utilisation charts
- Experience in establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on performance
- The ability to create effective working relationships and collaborate across a team and with third parties
- Experience of managing retainer and budget management across a portfolio of activity
- Strong understanding of brand, brand guidelines and interpretation and application
