Summary

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Leeds

Outstanding Specialist SEN School | September Start | Up to £560 per week

The Role

Join our prestigious SEN specialist school in Leeds as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, supporting young people aged 11-16 with complex additional needs including autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.

Key Details:

Salary: Up to £560 per week
Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Start: September 2025 (earlier start available)
Contract: Long-term, full-time position

What You'll Do

• Support pupils with diverse SEN needs in their academic, social, and personal development
• Deliver personalized interventions designed by qualified teachers and therapists
• Assist with behavior management and communication strategies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including speech therapists and educational psychologists
• Contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and progress monitoring

Essential Requirements

Desirable Experience

• Previous work with SEN (voluntary or professional)
• Understanding of autism spectrum disorders or ADHD
• Background in care work, sports coaching, or youth work
• Interest in pursuing further qualifications in education or therapy
