Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive team. This is a great opportunity to help pupils develop key skills and achieve their full potential during their important Key Stage 2 years. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a KS2 Teaching Assistant:
Support class teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons across KS2.
Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups to help them progress in core subjects like English, maths, and reading.
Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of learning materials, and displays.
Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Support pupils with additional needs, adapting activities to ensure access for all learners.
Supervise pupils during break times, trips, and other school activities as needed.
Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant:
Previous experience working with primary-aged children is desirable.
A good understanding of the KS2 curriculum is an advantage.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a KS2 Teaching Assistant.
A patient, encouraging, and proactive attitude.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
