As a Mortgage and Protection Adviser , you will have a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on clients' lives by providing comprehensive mortgage advice and helping them secure appropriate protection products. You will work closely with clients, assessing their financial circumstances, recommending suitable mortgage options, and offering tailored insurance solutions to safeguard their assets and loved ones. Your expertise, combined with our resources and support, will empower clients to achieve their homeownership dreams while ensuring their financial well-being.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their financial goals, risk tolerance, and protection needs.
• Assess clients' mortgage eligibility and affordability, considering their income, credit history, and financial obligations.
• Analyse a wide range of mortgage products and recommend suitable options based on clients' specific requirements and preferences.
• Provide expert advice on mortgage-related insurance products, such as life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection, and home insurance.
• Collaborate with clients to create personalized protection plans, ensuring they are adequately covered in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
• Stay up to date with mortgage and protection regulations, market trends, and product developments.
• Prepare accurate mortgage and insurance applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and compliant with regulatory standards.
• Liaise with lenders, insurance providers, solicitors, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless transactions.
• Foster long-term relationships with clients, providing ongoing support, reviewing their protection needs regularly, and identifying opportunities for additional services.
• Meet individual and team targets while upholding the company's commitment to exceptional customer service.
Skills and Knowledge:
• Familiarity with protection insurance products and their features, benefits, and suitability for different client profiles.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess clients' financial situations and recommend appropriate mortgage and protection solutions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, establish rapport, and empathize with clients' needs.
• Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
• Professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in handling confidential client information.
• Proficient in using mortgage-specific software, financial modeling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be able to understand and speak Hindi or Bangla language as applicant need to deal with Asian clients.
Education and Certification:
• Master’s or Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Qualified or intends to work towards qualification for mortgage and protection insurance, such as CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice) .
