Job Title: Executive and Event Protection Coordinator
Hours: Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17.00 (On call when necessary)
Salary: £65,000.00
What we are looking for:
We are currently looking for an experienced security professional with close protection experience. The successful candidate will assist in the provision of a secure environment for both the business and residential lifestyles of Management Board Members, enabling them to maintain their business and personal lives, mitigating any perceived threat. You will provide security protective measures and advice to personnel involved in the planning and execution of internal and external events and conferences where the attendance of Management Board or numbers or DB staff could present a concentrated risk to the business.
The candidate must have:
-SIA Security Licence holder to CP Level.
-A proven operational background within close protection environment, with supervisory experience in the planning and delivery of close protection operations in the UK and overseas.
-The ability to work independently in the UK and abroad without supervision.
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and good presentation skills.
- Ability to prioritise and manage tasks autonomously; excellent time-management skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Key Responsibilities:
-Daily management of ground transportation for Management Board Members in the UK and while travelling within region.
-Monitoring the internal events calendar, in liaison with the events and marketing teams and other Business lines, to ensure all events likely to involve the attendance of either Management Board Members or other DB staff are adequately advised on security.
-Creation and completion of reports
-Attend local, regional, and global meetings where necessary.
-Liaise with stakeholders such as PAs, EAs, marketing and events teams, to ensure a coordinated delivery of security measures.
-Liaise directly with vendors to maintain the appropriate level of service provided to the business and to manage the payment of invoices. Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
-Develop security plans for Management Board Members when travelling overseas, and where necessary, recommend and implement security measures to mitigate risks when travelling in countries where the additional security measures are required.
-Deploy in a close protection role in the UK and abroad when necessary.
-•Provide subject matter advice on police procedural matters to Corporate Security, Legal and HR as required.
-Self-deployment to all events where management board are attending or in a command-and-control management capacity where Mitie resources are deployed.
-Competent in carrying out risk assessments on events where Mitie resources are to be deployed.
-Establish relationships within Mitie for all resourcing, travel risk, travel arrangements and insurance requirements.
-Be fully conversant with SIA licensing requirements and their limitations based on the events or requirement.
-Be fully conversant with ISO31030-2021 Travel Risk Management and have the ability to implement and advise clients and colleagues accordingly
-Liaise with Police, other agencies or security teams visiting Deutsche Bank premises or events.
-Assume the functional responsibilities of the Regional Head of EEP during periods of absence.
-Be fully conversant with prevailing laws impacting events and the ability to advise stakeholders accordingly.
