Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of ductwork systems, including galvanised and fire-rated ducts.
- Support the lead duct fitter in measuring, cutting, and assembling duct components.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines.
- Perform other related tasks as required by the project supervisor.
Qualifications
- Valid CSCS card.
- IPAF certification.
- Mates Card.
- Proven experience in ductwork installation, particularly with galvanised and fire-rated systems.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
Day-to-Day
- Report to the site supervisor at the start of each shift.
- Assist in the preparation and installation of ductwork materials.
- Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Address any challenges or issues promptly and professionally.
- Adhere to all site safety protocols and guidelines.
