We are seeking a skilled Complaints Case Handler to join our team. In this role, you will manage a caseload of complaints, building great relationships with our customers to reach resolution. You will do this by having great conversations, working diligently, and at pace, to ensure the right resolutions for our customers. Your responsibilities will include investigating and resolving customer complaints without the need to escalate, writing clear and concise explanations for complaint resolutions and maintaining accurate records.

This position is full-time, a 6-month fixed-term contract and subject to a basic DBS check.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a natural curiosity to investigate and resolve complaints
  • Be resilient and capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Be experienced in handling and resolving difficult conversations, as well as the ability to challenge other business areas when necessary
  • Have experience in prioritising own workload and time management skills
  • Have the capacity to work self-sufficiently and use your initiative
  • Be IT proficient
  • Be able to drive with access to a vehicle (desirable but not essential).

We value accurate record-keeping and a commitment to doing the right thing at the right time. Your interpersonal skills should include understanding others’ feeling and perspectives, emotional intelligence, and active listening. Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure are crucial for this position.

The successful applicant will possess clear communication skills, both verbal and written, and be professional at all times.
