Crynodeb
The post holder will be an experienced Radiographer working autonomously, being accountable for your own professional actions. You will supervise, mentor and appraiseless experienced CT Radiographers, Apprentice Radiographers and Students. Some of the key tasks required for the role include: Responsible for supporting the CT Lead Radiographer To assist in the training and supervising of the Radiographers and RDAs across the 4CT scanners To ensure equipment is used in a safe and correct manner The post holder will be expected to work at all sites Commitment to shift work over a 7-day period To ensure that image quality is of a high standard and audit this as appropriate To work in accordance with the local rules, Ionising Radiation regulations, Health andSafety at Work Act, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations, and theTrusts Policies and Procedures To report promptly any equipment faults to the CT Lead Radiographer When required to liaise with equipment manufacturers and users and arrange for repairand servicing equipment To participate in Clinical Audit when required To ensure the maintenance of routine stock level To undertake IPDR on specified members of staff
