What you'll do:
- Cook up mouth watering menu items, with a passion for perfection.
- Compliance to regulations relating to Sodexo safe systems of work, health & safety, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH.
- Contribute to a positive and innovative kitchen culture.
- Assist the Exec Head Chef in developing and implementing new menu initiatives by collating data, presenting analysis and support with administrative systems support.
- Ensure minimum wastage occurs within both the kitchen and FOH areas, it is accurately recorded, and actions are taken to reduce wastage wherever possible.
- Take ownership and be ‘hands on’ with kitchen related stock control management, including counting, sensor checks, and recounting.
- Motivate and lead team members to perform their roles to a high standard.
- Ensure that all staff within the kitchen ops team are adequately trained and skilled to the required level.
- Please be aware that this role requires working across multiple sites as needed to cover absences, leave periods, and similar situations.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chefin a high volume setting
- Professional cookery or culinary qualifications
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks
- Commitment to maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards
