Production Operative – Dunmow
£12.21 per hour (PAYE) | Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
Ongoing role until at least December – potential for permanent employment (not guaranteed)
We are currently seeking a Production Operative for an ongoing opportunity based near Dunmow. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the production, assembly, and packing of finished goods.
Operate production machinery, including filling machines, dispersing/mixing equipment, scales, and hand tools.
Load raw materials into production lines.
Conduct basic quality control checks (e.g., tin and label faults, fill levels, colour, viscosity).
Inform supervisors of any production issues, faulty machinery, or packaging defects.
Securely package and palletise goods for shipment.
Support other areas of manufacturing during peak periods to develop new skills and contribute to team success.
Requirements:
Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks.
Comfortable standing for extended periods.
Quality-focused, punctual, and conscientious.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards.
Own transport is essential due to the remote location.
