Coyle Personnel is proud to support Uttlesford District Council in recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance & Street Cleansing Operative on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a committed team working to maintain and enhance the public spaces and overall environment across the district.
Key Responsibilities
Grass cutting
Hedge trimming
Litter picking
Sweeping pavements and roadside areas
Edging and spraying
Complying with all Health & Safety policies
Essential Requirements
A good level of English (reading and writing)
Full UK driving licence
Experience driving a 3.5-tonne vehicle
Desirable Experience
Working in outdoor environments
Use of horticultural equipment (e.g., chainsaws, ride-on mowers)
Experience with chemical applications
Previous grounds maintenance or street cleansing experience
Training will be provided, and there will be opportunities for further development for the right candidate.
