We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic psychosexual therapist with an appreciation of the challenges and rewards of working within a culturally diverse city.
The service sits within GMMH, a large mental health trust. You would be joining a small but highly experienced team of established psychosexual therapists, and you would be supported/line managed by the clinical lead for the service. A high standard of supervision and potential opportunities for career development exist.
Role will include:
Assessment, formulation and intervention of psychosexual difficulties, drawing on the established evidence base.
Provision of consultation to other healthcare professionals around psychosexual difficulties/presentations
Contributing to MDT approaches
Provision of supervision, as well as training/teaching where appropriate
Participating in relevant departmental meetings around the delivery and evaluation of services, as well as improvements.
