Your new role
Your New Company is seeking an experienced and proactive Freelance Site Manager to oversee a 22-week office refurbishment project in Penrith. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established contractor known for delivering high-quality commercial refurbishments across the North West.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day site management and coordination of trades and subcontractors
- Ensuring health & safety compliance and site cleanliness
- Managing programme schedules and reporting progress to the project team
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and suppliers
- Maintaining quality control and ensuring works are completed to specification
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience managing commercial refurbishment projects
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certification
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage timelines, budgets, and site logistics
- Own transport and tools preferred
