We're Hiring: Freelance Site Manager
Location: Birkenhead, Wirral
Sectors: College
Project Types: New build/ refurb
Values: TBC
FREELANCE: £250 - £280 a day
Duration: Short term
What you will do as a Freelance Site Manager
- Oversee build of new porch/ entrance work of a college
- Report directly to the Project Manager
- Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
- Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client representatives
- Support commissioning and final handovers
Duties of a Freelance Site Manager include but are not limited to:
- Chair and manage daily meetings (Client and internal)
- Manage day to day of the job overseeing a new build porch on the college/entrance works
- Ensure project runs smoothly on day to day basis
- Ensure H&S is adhered to & updated accordingly
- Record on-site progress and lookaheads
- Report into Senior Management
- Work closely with the contracts manager
Required Qualifications/Experience as a Freelance Site Manager
- Experience as a Site Manager (new build/refurb)
- CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
- Minimum of 4+ years experience in a Site Managers position
- UK driving license and access to own vehicle
