About us: Pinchuan Ltd is opening a new restaurant in London. To support the launch and success of the restaurant, we are currently looking for a skilled and passionate Chef to lead the kitchen and deliver exceptional food to customers.

Job description: We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef to lead and elevate our restaurant’s culinary operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen management, menu development, and food preparation, with a deep understanding of Chinese cuisines and cooking techniques. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation. The Chef will play a key role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience, managing kitchen staff, and supporting the overall success and growth of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and execute high-quality dishes in line with the restaurant’s standards and culinary vision.
- Design and update menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistent food quality and efficient workflow.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to optimize kitchen performance.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new offerings and contribute to overall business strategy.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of meals during service hours, maintaining presentation and portion standards.
- Stay current with culinary trends, techniques, and innovations to keep the menu fresh and appealing.
Who are we looking for (qualifications, experience and skills)
- professional qualification in cooking; formal culinary training is a plus.
- 1 year experience in professional kitchen.
- Experience in a Chinese restaurant;
- Experience in making Chinese cuisine is essential;
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen safety, and hygiene standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Creativity and passion for food, with an eye for detail and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently during busy service hours.
