Temporary Credit Controller (6 month fixed term contract)
Search are currently recruiting for a well known establishment for a Temporary Credit Controller to support their finance team for 6 months. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong credit control experience who is available immediately and ready to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively chase outstanding payments via phone and email
- Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and payment activity
- Resolve payment queries and discrepancies efficiently
- Monitor aged debt and escalate issues where necessary
- Assist with month-end reporting and reconciliations
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth credit control processes
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, Oracle)
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

- Hybrid working: 2 days office and 3 days working from home
- Hours: full time, 9am-5pm or 8am-4pm
