Job Overview
-This role and contract sits within our Facilities Management Sector of Mitie where we aim to improve the lives of people across the UK by creating productive, safe and dynamic working environment.
-We have an opportunity for a Security Escort to join our team.
-This is a Zero hour contract based in North Cornwall.
-Weekend work is also available at additional rates.
As a Security Escort, you are to ensure that sub-contractors are escorted when attending site at all times. You are to ensure that you and the sub-contractor obey current site protocols. You will work to deliver planned and reactive maintenance including minor projects as directed by the Line Manager.
Main Duties
-Your key responsibilities will include:
-Collecting visiting sub-contractors ensuring the Project Managers or the Maintenance Manager are aware their visitors have arrived on site.
-Escort the sub-contractors whilst work is being carried out.
-Ensure all paperwork is carried out and report back to the Line Manager.
-Ensure the sub-contractors are reminded of all site rules and follow them at all times.
-Ensure, as is reasonably practicable, that no H&S incidents occur
-Report all incidents & accidents to the Line Manager immediately
Requirements
-The pre requisite for this role will be to hold a High Security Clearance before the role commences.
-Candidates must be a British Citizen in order to start the clearance.
