My client, an industry leading tier one civil engineering and construction firm are looking for an assistant Qualtiy Manager to join their Rail division on a long term temporary contract in the North East of England.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of one of the most prestigious rail projects in the North East of England.

The Deputy Quality Manager will support the Senior Quality Manager in ensuring the effective implementation of the TRU-West Quality Management System and process. This role requires strong audit experience, IT skills (particularly SharePoint) and excellent presentation and writing skills to communicate with senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining the quality management systems
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Manage issue logs and update weekly
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Support the update and maintenance of quality documentation in SharePoint
  • Ensure quality related documents are accurate and accessible
  • Prepare report and presentation for senior management
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Management
  • Lead Auditor
  • Excellent presentation, writing and analytical skills
