Darlington Borough Council are seeking to recruit a Civic Enforcement Officer. This post is 37hrs per week and works across a 4 day on / off rolling rota over a 7- day working week.andnbsp;
The successful candidate would patrol and enforce parking areas in accordance with enforcement procedures and serve notices for contraventions of parking regulations. There would also be a requirement to report damage to car parking equipment, service and maintain car park machines and contribute to the seasonal upkeep of car parks.andnbsp;In addition to the above the successful candidate will be required to investigate environmental crimes, deal with abandoned and untaxed vehicles, support the dog warden and effectively deal with anti-social behaviour in our communities.
The successful candidate will need aandnbsp;City and Guilds 1889/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Car Parking Enforcement or alternatively a commitment to obtain the qualification within a reasonable timeframe of commencing in the post.andnbsp; A full driving licence is required to drive Council vehicles and approximately one yearsand#39; experience of dealing with the public.andnbsp;
