Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Children Occupational Therapist (Gr 8) to join our dynamic team, delivering high-quality therapeutic services to children of various ages with diverse needs. Responsibilities
Assess children's occupational performance and identify areas for intervention.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans for children.
Collaborate with parents, educators, and other healthcare professionals to optimize care.
Provide ongoing support and education to families concerning therapeutic strategies and activities.
Lead and mentor junior therapists and support staff in best practices and clinical skills.
Conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance departmental knowledge and therapy techniques.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current registration and licensing as an occupational therapist in the relevant jurisdiction.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy, with a focus on children.
Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills to engage effectively with children and families.
Proven ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team setting.
Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry trends and evidence-based practices.
Hours Per Week: 37.00

Pay Per Hour: £27.93
