The CSW - Social Worker - First Contact (Gr 8) position is a vital role within our community outreach and social services department. Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for clients seeking social services and support.
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and strengths.
Develop personalized intervention plans and connect clients with appropriate resources.
Facilitate crisis intervention and provide urgent support to clients in need.
Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations to ensure holistic client support.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
Participate in regular supervision, training, and team meetings to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
Master's degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited program.
Valid state social work license (LCSW preferred).
Strong knowledge of community resources and social service systems.
Demonstrated ability to perform assessments and develop intervention plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £26.25
