Person Specification:
The ideal candidate must:
Be born again and have a Pentecostal background.
Have experience in pastoral care and outreach for unchurched people.
Be good listener and able to communicate with people of all ages
Ability to patiently work with church members, visitors, and unchurched people.
Show genuine interest in responding to the hopes, concerns and aspiration of Church members and the community at large.
Duties
Ability to teach and preach the word of God, lead Congregational and small teams’ meetings.
Coordinate with the senior pastor and leadership team to plan and implement a robust.
Pastoral Care and for the congregation and local Community.
Assist the Evangelism team with its street mission in the Community.
The applicant must be able to lead the youth to organise an outreach and reach out to youth like them in the world.
Membership care, including plans for growth in devotional life and distribution of devotional materials.
Counselling and welfare support to those in spiritual needs.
Support the Food Bank and Homeless person’s campaign.
Leading congregation in prayer and worship services.
Organise and administer Holy Communion.
Organising water baptism for new converts.
Assist in the management of Home visitation and member care database
Assisting the pastoral team with other responsibilities when needed.
Able to work irregular hours including weekends, evenings and occasional travels
