Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Weighbridge Administrator to join our Building Services & Maintenance team. As a Grade 4 Weighbridge Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our material handling processes. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the weighbridge operations, including overseeing the weighbridge system, maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will also serve as a point of contact for drivers and contractors, providing them with the necessary assistance and information. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments to optimize processes and enhance operational efficiency. In this role, you will contribute to the overall success of our building services, ensuring that all materials are accurately tracked and recorded. Responsibilities
Operate and maintain the weighbridge and related equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
Record and process data for all incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining accurate logs.
Provide excellent customer service to drivers and contractors, addressing inquiries and issues.
Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations and report any non-compliance issues.
Collaborate with the maintenance and logistics teams to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation related to weighbridge activities.
Conduct regular maintenance checks and coordinate repairs as necessary.
Requirements
Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a similar environment.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Proficient in using computer systems and software related to data entry and reporting.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear interaction with stakeholders.
Understanding of health and safety regulations related to weighbridge operations.
Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
