The Role
Are you experienced in food production and ready to take on a new challenge? Do you have the skills to ensure quality and efficiency on a busy production line?
We are a leading food production company providing a wide range of chilled and frozen products for the retail, food service and ingredients markets, both for our clients and for our own brands. We are looking for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our growing team.
In this role, you will support the Team Leader in running an efficient production line, ensuring that processes are completed to the highest standards and in compliance with food safety regulations. You will also step in for the Team Leader when needed, ensuring the smooth operation of the line at all times.
Shifts: 6am-2pm (Mon-Sat, 40 hours per week) and 2pm-10pm (Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with line changeovers, setups, and completing necessary checks and paperwork.
• Stand in for the Team Leader when required, ensuring the continuity of production.
• Ensure all products meet the company’s quality and food safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, following health and safety regulations.
• Complete traceability documentation as required by the company’s standards.
• Perform sauce mixing, sleeve printing, and Amazon-related tasks as part of the production process.
• Continuously seek improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.

The Person
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Has experience in food manufacturing (If you don't have experience we will offer full onboarding and training)
• Experience in food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of food safety, allergen awareness, and HACCP.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• An organised approach to work, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• A proactive team player who is adaptable and willing to take on new tasks.
• Basic IT and English language skills.
