Description
As an ASB Case Officer at the WCC 3 Level 2, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our community by addressing and managing anti-social behavior (ASB) issues effectively. This position requires a proactive and compassionate individual who can assess complex situations and work collaboratively with various stakeholders to develop and implement effective solutions. You will be tasked with investigating reported incidents, gathering evidence, and engaging with residents to understand their concerns fully. Utilizing excellent communication skills, you will provide guidance and support to individuals affected by ASB, offering them reassurance throughout the resolution process. The ASB Case Officer role is centered around a commitment to fostering a positive and safe environment for all community members. With a strong emphasis on partnership working, you will liaise with law enforcement, local organizations, and internal departments to create comprehensive approaches to ASB issues. The role offers the chance to make a tangible difference in the community while developing your professional expertise in case management, conflict resolution, and community engagement.

Responsibilities
Investigate reported incidents of anti-social behavior to gather necessary information and evidence.
Develop and implement action plans to address ASB cases in a timely and efficient manner.
Engage with residents, community groups, and partners to gather feedback and provide support regarding ASB issues.
Document all relevant case notes and interactions accurately to maintain a thorough case history.
Monitor ongoing cases and assess the effectiveness of implemented solutions, making adjustments as necessary.
Provide advice and support to victims of ASB, ensuring they are informed of their rights and options.
Attend multi-agency meetings and contribute to collaborative approaches in managing ASB within the community.
Requirements
Proven experience in case management or a related field, preferably within a social services or community safety context.
Strong knowledge of anti-social behavior policies and legislation in relation to community safety.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions under pressure.
Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with a variety of stakeholders, including residents and local organizations.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
A valid driving license and access to a vehicle for travel as required within the role.

Pay Per Hour: £33.41
