Job OverviewWe have an exciting chance for a Technical Manager to join our team within Mitie Estates at Dudley Group Of Hospitals. As our Technical Manager, you will coordinate key information, engineering and working drawing packages to enable smooth transitions of Lifecyle Projects Works alongside Technical Assistance provisions to department managers as needed. to be built as intended and to obtain all necessary technical approvals. We value in-person collaboration and team culture.
Main Duties Required
-To act as a client facing technical expert.
-Provide the onsite teams with general engineering support as required.
-Provide Business Development team technical support to provide solutions to meet varying customer requirements
-Liaise with the wider business solutions to promote innovations in both new technology and service solutions.
- Advise on standardised documentation and processes that can be utilised and tailored by the site teams (i.e., Forward Maintenance Register, Risk Registers)
-Provide investigation and root cause analysis learning from experience documents to be shared internally/externally
-Provide technical support for the Estates Team.
-To be the SME for technical excellence within the team.
-underpin site teams with technical operations across all building service engineering disciplines
-Promote technical solutions & innovations
-Mentor and grow the engineering ensuring best practice and knowledge is shared.
-Building solid and assurance relationships with Client, Estates and Commercial teams, to ensure consistent quality and approach.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience
-Preferably HNC or Degree in Building Service Engineering or relevant engineering subject
-Previous Experience as an Authorised Person or Authorising Engineer in Electrical, Mechanical and Confined Spaces and put into practice safe systems of work.
-Experienced in a wide range of building service engineering systems.
-Customer facing across a varied customer base.
-Proven track record of technical problem solving.
-Ability to communicate technical subject to non-technical customers and team members.
-Ability to produce technical reports if required.
