ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT OFFICER
Permanent
20 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Salary - Scale 2/3 £24,027 - £25,183 per annum, pro-rata for 20 hours
You will provide administrative support to the Emergency Housing Team through efficiently and accurately recording and monitoring data, developing and maintaining efficient office systems and supporting the archiving of customer files. You will also liaise with customers, partners and agencies, both internal and external, coordinating correspondence and communications ensuring the delivery of an excellent customer focused service.
You will act as the first point of contact for partners and agencies on a day-to-day basis, accurately evaluating the nature of the enquiry and directing these to the required team. · You will have responsibility for resolving each call as efficiently and effectively as possible to completion, including any non-standard situations.
Therefore, for this position you will possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. You will have experience of working in a customer focused environment, ideally in a housing organisation. Strong IT and administration skills are essential. You will also have 3 GCSEs or equivalent to include English and Maths.
