Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm

Deliver creative Drama lessons in a nurturing specialist school for learners with additional needs.
About the school:
Independent specialist school supporting students aged 5-21 with social, emotional and mental health needs and moderate learning difficulties. The school promotes therapeutic, creative, and personalised learning experiences.
About the role:
Teach Drama across KS3 to KS5, using performance, role play, and creative expression to build confidence, communication, and collaboration. Support students' emotional development and engage them in imaginative learning.
We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons and projects
- Use creativity to support emotional literacy and self-expression
- Encourage confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving
- Collaborate with colleagues across curriculum and therapy teams
- Contribute to whole-school events and performances
Requirements -
The ideal candidate would have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
- Experience teaching Drama or performing arts
- Understanding of SEMH and SEND education
- Creative, flexible and inclusive teaching approach
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
