Digital Experience Manager

Are you ready to shape digital experiences that make a real difference? At Prospect Hospice, we’re looking for a Digital Experience Manager to lead our digital transformation – with a focus on delivering seamless, meaningful journeys for supporters, patients and the wider community.

From optimising our website to driving digital acquisition, you’ll be at the heart of how we reach and engage people with compassion, purpose and clarity. This is more than a digital role. It’s your chance to be part of something that changes lives.

What will you be doing?

As Digital Experience Manager, you’ll lead the evolution of our digital platforms to create outstanding user experiences – from discovery through to action. You’ll:

Oversee the management and future development of our website
Use insight, analytics and user testing to drive continuous improvement
Lead on integration across digital systems and platforms (including CRM, ecommerce and fundraising tools)
Drive the strategy and delivery of ‘always on’ digital acquisition for supporters and donors
Collaborate with fundraising and content teams to optimise journeys and boost engagement through social and content strategies – testing what works and reaching the right people at the right time

As part of a close-knit, collaborative marketing and communications team, you’ll bring your expertise to projects that span departments and partners. Reporting to the Senior Brand and Marketing Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping Prospect’s digital direction.

About you

We’re looking for a digital leader with a strategic mindset, a hands-on approach and a passion for purpose-led work. You’ll bring:

Experience in UX or digital experience management, ideally in a non-profit or customer-focused setting
Confidence in managing website development, maintenance and optimisation projects
Strong knowledge of digital systems integration, analytics platforms, SEO and user journeys
Comfortable turning data into decisions—bringing clarity through evidence
A collaborative and pragmatic working style, with the ability to influence and engage others
A curiosity for learning, an eye for improvement and a belief in using digital for good
Some experience with Agile or test-and-learn methods would be a bonus – but what matters most is your willingness to try, learn, and adapt.

Please see the job description for full details and person specification.

What else do you need to know?

Hours: 30 to 37.5 per week
Location: Based at our Swindon site, with hybrid working options available
Salary: £37,707 – £41,607 (FTE)
Great benefits: 27 days holiday, generous contributory pension scheme, discounts, employee assistance programme, family-friendly policies and practice, free parking on-site
Closing date: 28th July
Interview dates: 1st August (initial telephone screening) and 11th August (if successful – in person interview )

To apply, please submit your CV and a cover letter telling us why you’re excited by this role and how your experience fits.

What is it like to work here?

“Everyone’s open, ideas are welcome and you feel like you’re genuinely shaping something that matters.” Kate Fry, Head of Information Management and Technology
