We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Property Maintenance & Cleaning Assistant to support the upkeep and turnaround of rental properties. This hands-on role involves end-of-tenancy cleaning, property clearances, basic maintenance tasks, and redecoration work to ensure properties are clean, safe, and presentable for new tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out thorough end-of-tenancy cleans, including kitchens, bathrooms, and appliances
• Perform basic property maintenance (e.g., minor repairs, replacing fixtures, touching up paintwork)
• Assist with furniture and rubbish clearances
• Prepare properties for new tenants, including decorating and ensuring they meet cleanliness standards
• Identify and report any larger maintenance issues or safety concerns
• Drive a company van between job sites and transport tools and waste as needed
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle in good working order
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
• Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or similar roles preferred
• Basic DIY and decorating skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Reliable, punctual, and physically fit (some lifting involved)
• Full UK driving licence with a clean record (must be able to drive a van)
