Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) | Up to £27,000 | Full-Time

Our client, a welcoming and well-regarded nursery rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is looking for a passionate and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their nurturing team. Set within a charming converted Victorian house on a leafy residential street, this is a unique opportunity to work in a truly special environment that combines character, calm, and creativity.

What You’ll Need

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A kind, proactive, and patient approach to working with young children
  • A commitment to equality, inclusion, and creating a safe learning environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate, engaging activities that inspire curiosity and development
  • Build trusting, supportive relationships with children and their families
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, adapting learning plans to meet individual needs
  • Work collaboratively with your team to maintain a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment
  • Adhere to safeguarding policies and health and safety procedures at all times
  • Contribute to the warm, inclusive culture of the nursery through positive communication and teamwork
