Crynodeb
The post-holder will be responsible for regular review of patients in renal wards and patients dialysing on Lower Ground Floor Dialysis Unit. The post also involves in-patient supervision of approximately 20 patients in designated time period. It is envisaged that the post-holder will do ward rounds under supervision of renal registrars and renal consultants. The following patient problems will be reviewed regularly: General Nephrology Acute Kidney Injury Chronic Renal Failure Haemodialysis Peritoneal Dialysis Renal Transplantation The post holder would take part in Nephrology On Call Rota, currently 1:8 (shift system) with supervision of On Call Nephrology Consultant and Registrar. LUHFT renal unit provides regional renal service and also covers Warrington, Halton and St Helens areas.
