The School of Performance, Music and Media are looking for a highly motivated individual specialising in Digital Content Production with experience of journalism to join their successful team.

You will have industry experience and your skillset should include photography, video production, audio production and podcasting, copy writing and editing, design and branding plus a thorough understanding of media theory and Journalism.

Experience of using a range of different practical techniques relevant to the subject area and be proficient in editing for audio and video productions.

Due to the nature of the courses to be taught, it is essential that the successful candidate has a thorough understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite. (InDesign, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects)
Our courses are delivered by tutors with extensive knowledge and professional expertise of the industry and work closely with employers to develop students and their own skills.
This role is working part-time (0.6fte) based at our Watford Campus. The successful candidate will put Teaching, Learning, Assessment and student progress at the forefront.
You’ll have the full support of a dynamic team and opportunities to bring your ideas to the role. Training and development are at the heart of everything we do so you’ll be actively encouraged to upskill.
Holding a teaching qualification is desirable but not essential as training and the chance to achieve a teaching qualification whilst working for the College will be provided. This is an exciting opportunity to change career into an educational setting and share knowledge and skills with the next generation.
