We have 2 vacancies within our Re-Engagement Team for Life Skills Support Mentors.
As a Life Skills Support Mentor, you’ll play a vital role in helping young people aged 14–18 re-engage with education and develop the skills they need to thrive. You’ll work closely with learners on alternative curriculum pathways, providing one-to-one mentoring, coaching, and pastoral support. Your work will help them overcome challenges, build confidence, and progress toward their goals.
The successful candidate must have the desire to work with disadvantaged and disengaged young people to make a positive impact on their lives, coupled with a cheerful and enthusiastic disposition. You will have a relevant Level 2 qualification (GCSE A-C / 4-9) or equivalent in Maths and English is essential, alongside a relevant mentoring/coaching qualification.Experience of working with young people on a 1:1, or small group basis is essential, alongside excellent IT, communication and interpersonal skills.
Please note we have both full-time and part-time opportunities available.
