Led by the South Devon National Landscape Team on behalf of the Life on the Edge Project Partnership, employed through South Hams District Council and made possible with the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
Are you a great organiser and multi-tasker looking for a part-time role bursting with variety? This is not your normal run-of-the-mill admin job! We are looking for someone with an aptitude for running smooth project administrative and financial operations, who would also be happy chatting to people about our exciting project, Life on the Edge.
This role will suit a skilled and experienced Finance and Admin officer who is willing to share our passion for impactful project delivery for the benefit of people and wildlife. Life on the Edge aims to restore species-rich grasslands to secure a positive future for some of the UK’s rarest invertebrates along the South Devon coast.
You will provide administrative and financial support to the project team, project manager and project executive to deliver the £4.4m, five-year Delivery Phase to Life on the Edge, an inspirational National Lottery Heritage Fund supported project.
You will be part of a dynamic team at the South Devon National Landscape and work with a wider project partnership including Buglife, National Trust, South West Coast Path Association, Doorstep Arts and local communities, organisations, farmers and landowners.
This exciting role is an amazing opportunity to work in one of the UK’s finest coastal landscapes – it is highly designated and includes Special Areas of Conservation, National Nature Reserves, Sites of Special Scientific Interest and forms an important part of the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, South Devon Heritage Coast and South West Coast Path National Trail. For further information on the project see https://www.southdevon-nl.org.uk/projects/life-on-the-edge/
For an informal discussion please contact Rob Skinner, Life on the Edge Project Manager at rob.skinner@southdevon-nl.org.uk or 01803 229346.
